| Getting There: |
Deluxe motor coach transportation is included from the cruise ports of Montego Bay and Falmouth Jamaica; the resort is a convenient 25 minute ride from either port. The shuttle departs 45 minutes after your cruise ship arrival time and picks you back up 2 hours prior to your cruise ship departure time. For ships arriving at 7:30am and earlier (local Jamaica time), the shuttle will depart at 8:30am (local Jamaica time). |

Reservations must be made a minimum of 2 days in advance of arrival in order to secure transportation arrangements. Purchasing your Resort for a Day shore excursion day pass is simple. Make your online purchase and your resort passes are emailed to you within the same day. Simply print your passes and bring them with you on your trip. Passes are required upon check-in at the resort. |

First time ResortForADay.Com customers - won't be our last. Everything was exactly as promised. Email communication made it infinitely clear where to meet the driver, etc. The bus was clean, air conditioned and the driver was terrific. The property was absolutely beautiful. The low light was our cruise didn't even dock until 10:00 am so it was nearly 11:30 until we reached the property. However, a Hilton employee instantly went and found two chairs for us under the shade of palm trees. From then on, we were asked many times about beverages. Someone brought us a lunch menu and lunch was brought to our chairs. It was just an absolutely perfect day. The property is beautiful. The driver arrived back at the minute he promised to be there and returned us to the ship easily. - Barbara
While on a cruise we visited the Hilton through resort for a day. The driver we met at the port was friendly and professional. The lady with him pointed out sites and explained some things about Jamaica we thought interesting. The hotel was nice, everyone treated us very well. We loved the water slide and lazy river. We had some bbq jerk chicken and pork which was awesome! Most importantly, I forgot my reservation printout at home in Missouri. We were in Florida getting ready to board the ship in hours. I emailed you folks and you sent me my reservation via email shortly. Thank you! - Scott
Where do I start? My wife and had a bad image of Jamaica from a previous cruise and we had NEVER gone outside of carnival for an excursion! Taking the chance on both ideas PAID OFF. Arriving at Montego Bay, we had to ask for the location of the independent excursions, that was the ONLY complaint !! The bus was very nice and fairly new in appearance! The driver and guide were sociable, but didn't overdo the the ya mon' . The operators were very clear on instructions/details for the return trip. Upon arriving at the Hilton thier staff was very efficient, polite and organized! The resort itself was amazing! Plenty of bars and food places! Live music and dj's Great pools plenty of chairs, nice beaches! We would certainly use Resort for a day AGAIN and this Hilton again too! We now have a much better image of Jamaica courtesy of these two companies! - Ray
Our family of 5 (kids ages 10,8,4) stopped in port on a Disney Cruise and booked this excursion through resort-for-a-day. We had a fabulous time and it was a great excursion for a family with 3 young children. The water slides and lazy river were fantastic and entertained the kids for hours! We got drinks at the swim up bar. The jerk chicken stand had a great lunch and the kids also got pizza. All included in the price. Would highly recommend. - Mark For our cruise excursion, we chose to enjoy the Rose Hill Plantation (Hilton) resort in Jamaica. It was a wonderful experience. I had never been on a water slide or lazy river, and I thoroughly enjoyed those. The water was very clean. Having a swim up bar is a bonus and the drinks were great, especially the Bob Marley (green, yellow and red rum drinks). Our deal included unlimited drinks and lunch. The employees at the water areas were very nice and accommodating. We also played in the ocean and took out a kayak and a catamaran. I highly recommend using Resort For a Day for one of the cruise excursions. - Pianomom |
