How It Works: • Make your online purchase and your resort passes are emailed to you within the same day. Resort For a Day passes can be purchased up until the day before you are in port. However, availability at the Occidental Grand Resort Cozumel is very limited, so book early to secure your space. Helpful Tips: • Balance due at check-in must be paid with either U.S. cash (preferred) or a Mastercard, Visa or American Express credit card (Discover is NOT accepted) |

I love using Resort for a Day when we're cruising. We have never been to a bad resort. I think this was our 8th. This resort was beautiful. Great beach. Good food. What else can you ask for. - Sakimomma
We arrived in Cozumel on the Carnival Paradise and after a nice little walk and we made it to the taxis. Occidental was list as $18usd so the 4 of us jumped in and 15 minutes later arrived! Check-in was easy enough, got our wristbands and towel cards and headed to the beach and pools. We were able to find some chairs and picked up our towels and our first drink of the day! Swam in the ocean and then hit lunch which was pretty good and then the pool. They had activities going on every hour and we got in on some pool volleyball all the while ordering drinks and enjoying the resort. After several hours we unfortunately had to leave. Another $18 and 15 minutes and we were back to the port. Great place and I would definitely recommend it. - Robert
Our cruise ship didn't offer a resort getaway option in Cozumel, so I did a search and found the Occidental Grand Resort, which I booked before the cruise. We took a taxi from the port ($18 for 2) to the gated tree filled resort (about 1/2 hour from port). Easy check in (take your passport). The beach was great and the indoor restaurant on the beach was EXCELLENT!!!! Everything was free and all the staff was friendly and professional. - Eric
The Occidental Grand's large grounds are beautifully landscaped in a tropical setting. We especially enjoyed the large beachfront pool and nice beach. The Gulf waters were clear enough to enjoy snorkeling near the shore. The resort is clean and modern. They served an excellent lunch and the poolside bar provided both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. This resort provides a nice one-day experience. - Dave
Our favorite day on our cruise was our day spent at Occidental Grand! Good food, good drinks, good service! What else could you ask for? It is the only resort we stay at in Cozumel after 30 years of trying them all out! - Murrie |
