| Getting There: |
Taxi service is easy to get at the cruise ship terminal; the resort is a 30 minute drive from the cruise pier. Although the cruise port is nearby, we always suggest you depart the resort 2 hours prior to your ship’s scheduled departure time. |

| What To Know Before You Go: |
Purchasing your Resort for a Day shore excursion day pass is simple. Make your online purchase and your resort passes are emailed to you within the same day. Simply print your passes and bring them with you on your trip. Passes are required upon check-in at the resort. A valid Photo ID required for all guest ages 18+, and credit card holder must present a valid Passport for credit card authorization. Resort For a Day Passes can be purchased up until the day before you are in port. However, availability at the RIU Palace Pacifico Puerto Vallarta is very limited, so book early to secure your space. |

"We have visited several Riu properties, in the Caribbean and this one in Puerto Vallarta. It's a very nice property, huge pools, really nice beach and decent food and drinks. I would highly recommend." "I absolutely loved my day at the Riu Palace Pacifico. The hardest choices I had to make on a Wednesday in January were whether I wanted to be in the ocean or the pool. Service was outstanding, they had poolside entertainment, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would not only come back here if I cruised to Puerto Vallarta again, I would love to stay here for a few days.
